Industry recognition: foobar Agency is named Best Consultant of 2026 in the E-Commerce category
foobar Agency has been named the top consultant in the e-commerce category in the latest brand eins/Statista Consultant Ranking for 2026. The ranking is compiled annually by brand eins and Statista based on a survey of industry experts—in 2026, it included approximately 16,000 respondents and a total of 275 listed companies.
The brand eins consultant ranking is being published for the 13th consecutive year in 2026. It is based on an extensive Statista survey of consultants and clients. Consulting services are evaluated across 17 industries and 21 consulting fields—the “Best Consultant” award is thus based exclusively on peer and client recommendations, not on a jury decision.
For foobar Agency, inclusion in the ranking is a confirmation of the consulting position the agency has established in recent years: strategy and architecture rooted in implementation experience, with a technical focus on B2C, B2B, and D2C commerce. Unlike at pure-play consulting firms, consulting at foobar Agency does not stem from slide decks, but from projects with clients such as porta Möbel, Segmüller, and HSE.
The brand eins award is the latest in a series of growing market recognition. Following first place at the E-Commerce Germany Award 2024 in the Agency Showcase category, joining the BVDW in the same year, and the investment by adjusted ventures in November 2024, it is the next external signal of the agency’s position in the DACH e-commerce market.
“The fact that this award comes from a peer survey makes it particularly valuable to us,” says Matthias Dietrich, founder and CEO of foobar Agency. “We have always seen ourselves as a consulting firm that bases its arguments on implementation—not the other way around. When clients and industry colleagues recommend exactly this approach, it is the most valuable confirmation we can receive.”
