A Voice in the Digital Economy: foobar Agency Joins the BVDW

As of today, foobar Agency has become a member of the German Digital Economy Association (BVDW). By joining, the Munich-based agency becomes part of a network of several hundred member companies and can actively participate in the BVDW’s expert groups—particularly in the areas relevant to the agency: e-commerce, data, and customer experience.

The BVDW is one of the leading industry associations for the digital economy in Germany. It represents its members’ interests in the political arena and with the public, issues codes of conduct, and operates expert groups and working groups where market standards and industry topics are actively shaped.

For foobar Agency, membership is a step toward closer ties with the industry’s established structures. Specifically, it provides access to expert groups, studies, and benchmark data—and gives the agency the opportunity to contribute to standards and recommendations in the areas of composable commerce, data-driven business processes, and responsible AI use.

The membership follows the agency’s win of the E-Commerce Germany Award 2024 in the Agency Showcase category just a few weeks earlier. Both steps are part of foobar Agency’s consistent expansion of its position in the DACH agency market.
