Situation & Vision

To drive its digital transformation, Costa Crociere established the "Costa Digital Unit." This division was tasked with gradually digitizing the end-to-end customer journey for cruise passengers and introducing innovations that enhance the guest experience before, during, and after the cruise. The challenge was to deliver modern, digital solutions at an agile pace to meet the demands of an increasingly dynamic market and growing customer expectations.

The Costa Digital Unit aimed to introduce digital innovations across the entire customer journey. This included advanced discovery functionalities on the websites of AIDA and Costa Crociere in key European markets, as well as the development of innovative on-board solutions to revolutionize the passenger experience – such as indoor navigation systems and personalized services.
